The ideal candidate should have demonstrated skills to translate from English to Tamil to English. The position is based at Madurai. Retired persons, preferably from the Judiciary are encouraged to apply.
- To plan and develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy including monetary needs and goals, potential donors, fundraising ideas and methods.
- To build a case for support which will inspire donors and which will demonstrate how they can make a special contribution to the organization.
- To prepare materials (brochures, letters, etc.) that will present the case for support
- To research, compile and maintain a database with names and contact details of potential donors
- To write to, phone and meet with potential donors and sponsors and convince them to make a donation or regular sponsorship
- To maintain regular contact with actual donors including letters, progress reports and updates about the organization’s work or if they sponsor a specific child/person about this child/person.

- To organize donation collections at cultural events and training programmes organized by PW-TN as well as to organize in the long-term specific fundraising events
